Prospecting for new community association clients is challenging at best since they are a very difficult market to reach. And that's precisely where Community Associations Institute (CAI) comes in because community associations - specifically their board members and professional managers - are the center of our membership! WE KNOW HOAs!

So when CAI hosts its annual Conference & Expo, you need to be there exhibiting your company, promoting your equipment and services, networking with 100s of community associations' leaders and managers from throughout the greater Austin area.

In addition to the Expo portion of the event, we have a very interesting agenda to attract our community managers and association board members, beginning with our Annual Community Awards Banquet where the best-of-the-best communities and the individuals who serve them in the greater Austin area will be honored. And there's even an attendance contest to acknowledge the management companies who bring the most managers and their association board members to the event.

Then immediately following, our amazing Conference Lecture Series takes place just upstairs with lectures on vital topics for community leaders and their managers (with continuing education credits). See the Conference Lecture Series Schedule details here >>.

And when the lectures finish we’ll open our Expo portion of the event with more than 60 of Austin’s finest solution providers here to provide answers to the questions keeping board members (and their managers) awake at night. Finally, to complete the event, there will be a relaxing Social Mixer with $1,000's of door prizes to be given away.

So there are multiple reasons for community leaders and their managers to attend … and meet YOU!

CAI Austin's Conference & Expo 2017 is Thursday, August 10th, at the prestigious Palmer Events Center. The Expo portion of the event will be open from 2:30 to 5:00pm. We have 66 booth locations (each 10'x10' w/ pipe & drape) at prices that can fit most any marketing and promotion budget. For example, you may select anywhere from our most cost-effective Standard exhibit space at a price of just $550, to one of 46 Corner exhibit spaces (access to two aisles) for $625-$650, to our Premium front-row-center spaces for $750. NOTE: Prices shown are for CAI Austin members. Non-CAI Austin members add $250 (which will be refunded if you join CAI Austin by September 10, 2017).

  1. Determine the exhibit booth type that best fits your needs. Please see the Exhibit Booth Layout Diagram below.
  2. Use this Online Registration Form>>
    • Select the booth type and options you'll need (table, chairs, electricity, carpeting?).
    • You may request a specific location(s), and we'll try our best to match it.
    • If you wish, select a sponsorship.
    • Reserve an advertisment space in the printed event program so people know where to find you and submit.
  3. We'll confirm your registration and email you with an invoice.
  4. Pay by check, or with a credit card online via PayPal here >> (you don't need to be a member of either CAI or PayPal to use it).
  5. We'll inform you of your specific booth location by mid-July.
  6. Please notify us if you need to park a large truck or trailer near the loading dock during the show. We'll determine if we can accommodate you.
  7. You may begin setting up your booth early on Wednesday afternoon, August 9th, 5:00-8:00pm. Otherwise, the Palmer Events Center will open at 7:00am the day of the event to set up your exhibit. Your exhibit area must be completed by 11:00 am.
  8. Parking in the Service Yard is on a first come, first reserved basis. If the yard parking fills up, you'll need to park in the covered parking garage.
  9. Staff your exhibit from 2:30 to 5:00pm.
  10. Take down and remove your exhibit anytime from 5:00 to 10:00pm.
  11. Enjoy a relaxing "Social Hour Mixer" beginning at 5:00pm. Relax awhile before packing up.
  12. Facility closes at 10:00pm.

Again this year we will publish a full-size, 28-page event program to be given to all attendees. Each program will feature the detailed "Exhibitor Booth Map" and the "Conference Lecture Schedule", both of which will ensure excellent readership. Your advertisement promoting your booth location needs to be there!
